Our collection of leather sofas have been made by a Danish family-run company specialized in making high-end sofas from generation to generation. The leather used in the production of these high-end sofas is imported from Italy and is supplied by the same tannery that produces leather for the interiors of luxury automobiles, Mastrotto. Our Danish partner uses semi-aniline leather with a thickness of 1.2-1.5 mm. Semi-aniline leather is pure aniline leather that has a small amount of pigment or clear finish thus allowing the natural characteristics (scars, insect bites and scratches during the life of the cattle) of the hide to still show through while offering some of the benefits of color consistency and increased wearability. The leather used in the production of these sofas is also called top-grain (or full-grain leather). This leather is made from the uppermost layer of a hide. Top-grain leather is the highest quality part of the hide and, in the case of our sofas, its surface has been only slightly polished in order to smoothen and correct natural characteristics that are too pronounced. These sofas are without doubt the best quality leather sofas available in Vietnam (only pure aniline leather versions would be superior).
The frames of all our sofas are made with imported New Zealand pine wood and this specific and essential part of the structure of the sofas is made by a Swedish company located in Vietnam in order to guarantee a 100% Scandinavian leather sofa and the best quality available in Vietnam.
